Community Resilience & Online Safety Events in Lambeth – invitation to NHW participants |

One of the objectives of those working on the formation of the new Lambeth Neighbourhood Watch Association (e-mail development@lambethnhwa.co.uk for details) is to help you support vulnerable neighbours who are too scared to answer the phone, act on a text or go on-line for fear of being scammed or abused.
As part of the planning for the launch programme we therefore worked with partners to organise activities to better equip you, the rest of the voluntary sector, frontline staff and other active community members to help those at risk online – be it from scams, fraud or online abuse and other harm.
Clear Community Web and the Met Police Cyber Protect Team have organised a series of presentations to cover the fundamentals with follow on workshops to put these into practice in small groups.
